Yeah, if you could get a known good one for cheap.
You did check all the fuses, etc.. for it, right?

Yes if you run new speaker wire to all speakers.

You could just jumper the wires at the amp connector. If I remember right, the radio adapter harness will plug right in and you can jumper the appropriate wires.

I would try the radio first, and see if the internal amp in the radio itself took a dump. Just need to splice into any speaker pair and hook a cheap speaker to it. If it plays the radio is fine and the monsoon amp is dead. If you get nothing, you need a new headunit.
Off the Back of the radio itself:
Radio Constant 12V+ Wire: Orange
Radio Ignition Switched 12V+ Wire: (Class 2 Data)
Radio Ground Wire: Black/White
Radio Antenna Trigger Wire: Dark Green
Left Front Speaker Wire (+): Tan
Left Front Speaker Wire (-): Gray
Right Front Speaker Wire (+): Light Green
Right Front Speaker Wire (-): Dark Green
Left Rear Speaker Wire (+): Brown
Left Rear Speaker Wire (-): Yellow
Right Rear Speaker Wire (+): Dark Blue
Right Rear Speaker Wire (-): Light Blue

Nope Sorry, there is no fuse inside the monsoon amp, best bet is to go to a junk yard and find one in the back of a grand am or another alero, I have 3 of them at the moment, 2 found in the junk yard(haven't gotten around to testin them though) and the 1 currently in my alero. Or try what cliff just explained, and last but not least just install a new system(fun fun stuff)
