New Headunit: JVC Arsenal KD-A605
Has anyone had any experience with this receiver? I'm planning on ordering one this afternoon and just wanted to see if anyone had any comments or suggestions, or if there's something else I could get for a similar price but with more features or better quality.
Price: $149.99 w/ all installation equipment
RMS Output: 20
Peak Output: 50W
RMS Bandwidth: 20-20KHz
Preamp Outputs: 2-Channel
Preamp Voltage: 5V
Crutchfield Link

I like it, but with as much as I use my iPod the USB/Aux inputs are pretty important. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Atmo,
I have ALL JVC stereo equipment in my car, Headunit, speakers, Amps, Subs, and even the Ipod adapter.
I can testify that JVC is a GREAt product and I have had the same headunit for over three years now. Anyone that heard my sound system at ASS 09, can verify that they sound good with some exceptional quality.
Ask Cherry, or Heneick, they can verify.
Also, Sony is the WORST thing you can do to your car HIFI end! I wouldn't advise sony to my worst enemy, however he has one. LOL

I had a JVC deck in my Alero, about the same price range.. it was really nice IMO. Loved the USB input, and never had a problem with it.

My friend has got that head unit. No complaints. I liked it because all the buttons change color. On mine, only the with the screen you choose the color. Buttons are either red or green. And as far as JVC, Ive got an arsenal head unit too (not yours), and I love it. The equalizer is so adjustable, that I feel no need for an extra crossover or anything.
