stealing signal

ok so heres the deal I have no rear speakers atm as my subs singnal is currently coming from the rears, i want to put the bad boys back in though. i dont want them hocked up to the subs singnal as the is turned up to high and will proply blow them . so my question is has any one had their front and rears hoked up to the same leads i am going to amp the rears but well hasthis been done? and what it turn out like?

Correct me if I'm asking a stupid question, but why is the signal for your subs coming from the rear rather than it's own lead from the deck?

lol their is alot of break ins around were I live and im trying to keep every thing hidden. I have the stock deck in still, which dosent have a lead for the subs. so converted it off of the rears.hope that helps

I used to get my signal from the rear speakers back when I had the stock HU. Its no big deal, just connect the rear speakers, and splice into their wires for the signal. Subs shouldnt affect them at all.
