faint knock when pulling in and out

this is wierd and very hard to explaine. when i pull out either reverse or forward it makes a sound when almost near a dead stop it makes a popping. sorry hard to explaine. i cant tell if its like the strut making noise or maybe the caliper. again it only does it when i first pull out or first pull in and only one time then never again. wtf can this be its driving me insane.

it's like a clunk or two, I thought it was my gas door or something, or a coil spring moving slightly

yea clunk better choice of words its gotta be the strut of brakes maybe caliper cuz it comes from the front and only happens when pulling in and out its driving me nuts i cannot wait to figure it out. has urs done it always mine just started doing it 3 months ago.

i don't remember when i started noticing it, but mine sounds like it's coming from the rear

mine doesnt POP.. but it clicks.. gonna replace the CV axels and wheel bearings and call it good-

Mine does that sometimes. Only when pulling out tho.

could be that your exhaust is tapping against the frame of the car

My first camaro did something similar, but it was a big POP. turned out I had a broken tranny mount.
