The sleeve is just a jacket that changes the look of the wire and/or gives the wire the added high-temp resistance. As far as 9mm wires, it would be wasted money. Even the 8mm wires are kind of a waste unless you have an aftermarket ignition pushing a hotter or longer duration spark to your plugs. I've just got the 8mm Taylors, and chances are, I'll never see any benefit from the purchase. Maybe a miniscule mileage increase, but that's it. No difference @ all.

well see i was looking to get pack wires and plugs instead of just wires, packs kinda help everything work together so i'll be able to get my moneys worth. but anywho so could i get that sleeeve thing i was talking about? like does it matter what color it is? cause from what im seeing that sleeve thing is on the outside, and that what matters...... and do you think that is all 6 wires?

I wouldn't bother buying the sleeves, especially since they make the wires in yellow, like you wanted. ( unless you want some kinda candy-cane stripes on them or something? )

lol that actually sounds kinda neat but not my style. i'll just pick up some black 8.5 wires, no big deal.... unless someone comes accross some yellow ones for me.
