The body shop my cars at worried me a bit today. I have the kato kit installed and have sprint performance springs that lower the car 1.75 inches. Now that 1.75 inches is 1.75 inches lower to the ground right. The way they made it sound was my car might be a inch off the ground.

get coilovers, if its gonna be an inch off the ground, you are gonna want it to be way stiff. And if you don't have that option, i suggest getting KYB struts to compliment the stiffness of the sprints. Mine are pretty stiff, but if I was only an inch off the ground, they would need to be stiffer

4 inches with the kato kit? That kato front end is low as it is. 4 inchs is cool with me. I really was looking for about 5 in the front and about 4 on the sides.

Got any pics of your car lowered? I'm just worried. If its low at the shop I am going to have to pay them to remove and replace with stock springs before I leave. Thats going to cost like 350.00.
What I don't understand is if it says its a 1.75 inch drop why is it more then 1.75 inchs?

Yeah, my car with Intrax is about 4-5 inches off the ground in the rear and3-4 inches off the ground in the front. (on the sides.)
My front bumper and rear bumper are well off the ground.
Sprints are lower than Intrax but not by much. Take a look at my pics in the showcase or cardomain to get an idea what it will look like w/o a bodykit.

They are a little bit lower than 1.75 because the springs need to settle some with the weight of the car. Will probably drop to almost 2"

1.75 inches doesnt mean that's how high off the ground it will be, that means how much it will drop. Go to my cardomain to see what I mean, on page 2 there are before and after photos to show the drop. SO if it is say 7 inches off the ground before the 1.75" drop, it will be 5.25" off the ground

yes they have. They make them. This shop can do anything. This is the first alero they have ever done work to like this. Sprint makes some really low springs. They were a bit worried about the kit and the springs mix. See I had told them I was looking to drop it 3 inches. So they thought I went out and got springs for a 3 inch drop. That would have put my car on the ground. I only have the sprint 1.75 inch drop. It was just a miss understanding.

I want to see the car as bad if not more then you guys. They said they would be done for sure this sat. Just hope they don't pull anymore poop on me like the have in the past. If the car is not done I just get more free poop out of the deal.
One lesson I have learned is, never pay upfront.
