grand am 3rd brake light? alero?
Would a grand am 3rd brake light work on an alero?

2003 alero 2.2 ecotec tinted windows, cold air intake, strut bar, full pacesetter exhaust, HID lights, grill mesh, brembro brakes, kicker l7, chipped and more but looking for more mods i would like to keep my car luxury, clean and a head turner.
i do auto detailing so my car is always spotless  [SIGPIC]

I am not sure, but I have heard that the impala one fits. The impala one is pretty cool because it is led

Yes it will. Mounts could be swapped im sure.
Why would you want one? It lights up the same as the alero.

the impala one was easy no mods needed it fits on the plastic peice tighter than a glove trust me but it works it will be arched up about a 32nd but just run the wires out the back and wire them up or plug them into the stock plug took me 30 min to do

They're the same piece. Even though the Grand Am has the different tail lights, the 3rd brake light on the trunk is shared.
Although, I would personally recommend that you go with the 2000-2005 Impala 3rd brake light instead. That brake light is LED and it is plug and play once you make your own connector for it. The Impala tail light has a neg and pos wire, but no way to connect it to the N body wiring harness for the 3rd brake light. I used to have this on my old Grand Am. Looked really cool.

But a grand am one is the smae simple plug and play because I can get a smoked led one for a grand am? Just checking to make sure it will fit?

Yes man.... it's the same thing. There is very little difference between the Grand Am and Alero. Anything that isn't obviously different is more than likely the same.
