No reason to get GR2s unless your current struts are bad. GR2 are stock replacement quality like any you can get at a parts store. AGX are the ones that are upgraded.

Well I mean they are 10 years old now. I thought I read somewhere on here that they didn't like the AGX?

dampening costs a bunch (to do properly) and takes a LONG TIME.

...but i'd go that route, if it was me.

secondskin if you want it done properly. Dynamat is crap compared to that stuff.

yes i agree i have second skin in my trunk and there are no rattles at all before i deadened the truck it sounded like crap. Also i think that the optima yellow top battery would be good if you are planning to have a big system.

Update on this for whoever cares.

I've gotten a Yellow-top installed and I love it!!

I'm going to hold off on the HID highs since I am going to just swap them with my current HID lows after I do a RetrofitSource projector upgrade.

My exhaust looks real rusty, and would like to do a Header all the way back exhaust change out. Not sure what components yet, but I'm open to suggestions (I have a 2.4 btw)

As for the lowering, I am going to start saving now for some H&R's and KYB AGX. Does anyone have any input on decent strut mounts?? I remember someone saying MOOG made some good ones. Are KYB's ok? I'm thinking total for all that will be around $600

I'm going to hold off for a long time to sound dampen the car since my audio is fine now, but eventually want to upgrade to a 15" Alpine type R.

I just had to go look. I have a tote full of suspension parts. All new. Waiting for weather to break and waiting for rear lateral bars to be powdercoated.
