Guage Needle Questions!

Ok guys, I removed my gauge needles and colored them red, actually used a permanent red marker and it looks good...don't glow that well at night, but look great during the day. My questions are these: The fuel gauge is supposed to drop below empty with the car off correct...just like temp gauge? Also, with my car stopped and just idling...it is a notch below 1000 rpm, is that correct...I hope I did not f*ck up the needles..they were pretty easy to pop off

Thanks guys!

Hey thanks for the help, yeah It sounds like I am fine then..if its off it would only be a tad. The main thing I was worried about was the fuel gauge, at first it was not working. I just wish they made aftermarket needles that where red or orange plastic already!

Thanks guys

Lol I did the same thing on mine. The marker will kind of "fade" after awhile and look weird. You'll see what I mean.

Its not called "faded" its called "distressed" which is all the rage in Europe right now. Booyah for the Euro look for less than $2.99
