What zymol are you talking about? What megs are you talking about?
The turtle wax ice polish isnt liked by almost anyone on autopia.org. Ive never used it though but if they say it sucks than im gonna go with there opinion.

zymol is good for what it does. cleaner wax and carnuaba all in one so its convenient for the average person. i use it in between details on my car, so after i've used the high speed buffer on it and a month or so goes by i use zymol to perk it back up a little.
plus it smells like coconuts which is an obvious plus haha
meguiars is good, if not a little overrated. mothers is along the same line. i wouldnt really go with anything other than those 3 though for just regular waxing. turtlewax, blue coral, etc.. i dont really like em.

You guys have to specify what wax your talking about. Both Zymol AND megs make a ton of different waxes. Which ones are you talking about?

If your using Zymol cleaner wax inbetween full details (full details include different stages of polish and then a glaze and then a sealant/wax) then what you are really doing is removing any polish and glaze that you used, it is counter productive.
Zymol cleaner wax is great for the guy who only has time to clay bar once a year and apply 1 product every few months.
You guys wanna learn more about detailing check out autopia.org.

excuse me i meant to say zymol carnuaba in between details. the cleaner and carnuaba is good for the avg. joe is what i was saying
thanks for trying to explain detailing for me, i personally dont use autopia considering i actually detailed for GM and then Jaguar. now i work at a car wash (better money, less work) and do detailing on the side as my own personal business.
but once again, if i need help learning how to detail i'll be sure to consult you and autopia. thanks!

What Zymol do you use though? Im just curious. There are 16 different wax's zymol makes. The carnuabas start at about $50 all the way up to $1,800.

i use the vintage estate glaze, like you said runs 1800 bucks haha riiight. no i use the carbon wax ($50ish) and occasionally i break out the concours estate glaze ($160ish). ive used the Ital ($60ish) but i ran out of that.
i actually prefer Ardex though. i special order that through the car wash, and i usually buff customer cars with Poor Boy (the ssr 2.5, 1.5 sealer, polish, and paste). i've used that on my car as well and its really good.

Niiiiiice dude.
I just started using Klasse glaze and Sonus sfx 1, 2 and 3.
I still use megs proline polishes depending on the vehicle and what it needs.
I was wrong about zymol, there are 21 wax's and the most expensive is $10,000.
