I think its stupid to do that permanently but it is easy to do that. It's also easy to fix the red ring of death on an xbox 360. You can even find tutorials on youtube all day.

Sure, it can be done but why? More fun to have a full computer in the car. My son has one in his Eagle that can do all; music, internet, gps and gaming.

I'm kinda curious as to how someone could put a game system like that in their car... They draw quite a bit of power...

well you would need a way to plug the xbox in by using an adapter and if it were me hooking it up i would get another battery

I would think you would have to run it's own electrical since using an adapter for the 12v system would short it out.

actually people use 12v adapters and have no issues, its been done quite often however not recommended to do how long period of times like most use them for.

easiest way is to use a second battery and an easy put in and put out design so the humidity and moistoire doesn't get in and ruin the electrical motherboard and such in the xbox since it wasn't designed for it to begin with

Power inverter would do it. My uncle had one on his old van he'd use to charge power tools, or even run ones that weren't cordless. The power inverter was f-ing huge though, and most likely expensive.

The power issue is why a computer makes more sense overall. Computers run on DC anyhow so all you have to do is buy a DC to PC power supply, they are fairly common and not too expensive. Add a 7" touchscreen display which mounts in the stereo area and wireless keyboard/mouse for emergencies. Everything runs from a 12v 30Amp feed including head-unit (to send sound to Amps). Obviously for real gaming you'd want a bigger screen but otherwise it works out very well.

Back to subject - Xbox will have to run from an inverter cause nobody makes a DC to Xbox power supply, yet...

anyone who is skilled in electronics could make one, given the proper equipment. Just need a few caps, a transformer some transistors and a decent rectifier. It would definitely be easier to run it through a very clean inverter though.

tuner, learn some damn grammar. good lord. Your posts barely make it passed my "hyped up teenage girl at a beiber concert filter" BARELY.

also... why is this in "alero appearance" if your not at all interested in what the guy wants done, or how to do it? also.. appearance isn't for electronic mods.

You did misspell "past" though, Cherry. But we understood what you were saying.
