I didn't think that you needed to get a passport to cross by car yet, if so then i'm out.

don't NEED one.. but it'll streamline your passage.
you DO require Valid Drivers Liscense AND Birth Certificate... be sure to remember those, and keep them in a safe place.
for the love of god, do NOT lose those while in lansing!

Of course Linda and I will see you all out there.
Her friend is moving to Battle Creek. It's only the 9th move for her in 7 years. BC is only about an hour from Lansing, so we'll probably jet in before or around the time the Chi-town people (Scott and crew) get there

This sounds like its way to regulated for me to attend. I was hoping on just driving up the SC-3 Intrigue taking the family and hanging out with you guys for the day but 1. I don't own an Alero right now and 2. I don't want to pay an ebtry fee for a show I couldnt be judged in anyway. If any of you guys are going to Oldsmobile nationals in Dearborn this year I will just see you there.

It's not like they're going to not let you hang because you don't have an Alero and you didn't pay.

yeah.... I thought the new legislation came into effect as of Feb. 1/08 that passports are mandatory for all border crossings now... Unless it is just for air travel now, and next year is for all types of travel... I am not sure on this, but figure it would probably save a lot of hassles to have them in hand, rather than try to just cross... especially if I have anything done to the car by then, besides my stereo...
