High Flow Cat

Hey right now I have the armor coated pacesetter header, with a 2.5 catback exhaust with a straight through muffler. All I need is a High flow cat to complete it. Now I hear Magnaflow is great but what about CatCo or OBX?
Which do you have? (Part Numbers would be great )

They don't have to make one, they can buy one, or they probably have them at the shop. They'll just need to weld it into the pipe after the cat.

That is the same cat that I am using. Otherwise there is a cat by MetalCat which is a bit more then that one. I couldn't get it because it was still be tested or something so it was backordered. MFuller has one of these cats. Those are my two cents on this.

it's what he recommended, & what I would recommend, not necessarily the "best" as that is for YOU to decide.

I would stick with magnaflow. I've heard of off brand cats breaking apart early. Realistically, the cat isn't all that restrictive if its not melted. Its definately not the most restrictive part of the exhaust system, so unless you are running a lot of boost, their normal, ceramic honeycomb cat will serve you very well.

The one you posted looks like a spun metallic cat, but I didn't look at the link. It will flow better, but is IMHO overkill. You may notice a difference in sound, but probably not power.

So is mine. They could use a lower carbon stainless (303 I think) that will still surface rust, but won't actually rot through.

Yeah it could just be surface rust but I've only had it on since November an I noticed the rust a couple months ago...I even sprayed a few coats of that high heat exhaust paint on it...The rest of my exhaust system still looks awesome

No boost, but 75 shot of wet nitrous.

Fendercore,
I have the Magnaflow highflo cat and had it on the car since I have owned the car and still no signs of rust. Not even surface rust.
