Ok, does anyone on here have the Pace Setter exhaust system on their ride? I'm just wondering what the pipe diameter is, and if it's suitable for a 3.4. Something tells me it's a 4 banger-only system, but it doesn't hurt to ask I guess....

Although it's crappy aluminized steel, it's pretty cheap, mandrel bent and seems like it's an easier route than going to a custom fab shop.

yeah, their uncoated header is....but I haven't seen a PaceSetter cat-back for our cars. Got link? If it is the header you speak of, yep for the 2.4L only.

if they have a catback for the 2.4 then it will work on the 3400.

I realise that it would bolt up, but I was kinda hoping someone had it, and could tell me it's diameter. I'd love to save on cash, but if it's only 2 1/4" I'd pass on it. Here's a link Oscar, they've got it @ Andy's. They just don't display any real info on the Alero system itself, just general info on Pace Setter's cat-backs...Andy's Pace Setter Cat-back page

I also realise it'll eventually rust, like I said in my 1st post, it's only aluminized steel.

My friend was looking up one of these for a accord, it added a grand total of 3hp, I would look more into it, or have a custome one made

it's 2.5", i've got one to put on my 3.4, be prepared for a battle to get the bolts out of the catalyitic converter flange, i spent an hour and a half today workin on those, and all i accomplished was snapping the head off of one.

My stock exhaust didn't have any flanges at all, it was all welded.

wrestling and running, that might just be the resonance of your car's natural exhaust flow, try putting a resonator on and it might eliminate that.

I have it as well on my 3400... wouldn't hurt to check a shop to see what their prices are. Could save some money.

Me and my dad modifiedit a bit so it's no hitting anything because i used too. Though sometimes on start ups and if you shke th muffler you hear something rattling. Though I'l just wait for it to eventually rust out and get a new one from exhuast shop.

I just recently put a high flow cat and pacesetter exhaust on my 3.4. I'm already used to the noise and it sounds normal to me though. It has a pretty decent low growl and rasp to it. Not ricey at all. But something does vibrate on my exhaust when I first start her up. I had an exhaust shop put it on for me as I do not have the tools to do so.
