thanks guys much appreciated, took alot of work and time. And as of now nothing is done to the motor, well becides the hood being functional  i'm entertaining the idea of building a salvage cobalt ss (turbo). If i end up keeping the cavi it'll get airbagged and supercharged. and the eco cavs (2002+) only came w/ a 2.2.

pfff.. forget the colbalt go for a eco turbo build or eco S/C build.... its a beaut of a car and make it worth the looks
but tho this is my opnion tho

There's a cavalier in my town with that same hood! Only his is a little ricy lookin'... (hood is black and the vent is primer....) Nice cav though.  |

thanks again for all the comments guys. It took me about a year or so w/ putting a little time here and there on it to complete it.
- The rims i have no idea what they are, i bought them used and repainted them black w/ the red inserts
- as for what it hit, it looks to me like a short pole about 2ft high or even a tree stump?
