Hey everyone

Hey people, just joined up after a while of looking around at all the awesome alero's :P well ill post some pics of mine. Its a 2003 GL 3.4L V6 and has 170hp. I bought it with 145xxx km's. I dropped a JVC deck in it and put some chrome exhaust tips on for fun, I also put some xenon 5900k bulbs in, haven't been pulled over yet haha..I still want to put a cold air intake on and a throttle body spacer.. In case if anyone is wondering, the stripes are factory including the ones on the quarter panels. I also noticed the gear shifter is different than most alero's and I haven't came across a similar one. I was wondering if this may be one of the last 500 442's that were made? If anyone has an idea..please let me know.

Cheers

i like how this one looks better than the stock one. if youre looking for a stock one, i may have the one i pulled out. it fits a little bit loose, but is in pretty good shape. let me know if you want it.

I like that car, but I say remove that deflector on the front. It looks like your shifter came from a Grand Prix. Think you would like a T-shifter like from a Camaro or Trans Am, they fit.

sorry to burst your bubble, but those stripes are NOT from the factory, maybe your dealer put them on, and there was no "last 500 442's" There were final 500s but they were all DCM and had special badges and a gold coin on the inside of the door, and some other little goodies. And the alero was never produced as a 442 either, other than the pink and white 442 prototype.

Now that we have that out of the way, WELCOME!!!

Not a fan of the stripes on top of the car, but the ones on the side look good, imo

I do know that some dealers would add a razzi kit to the GLS cars as an option. But that was way back when.

Welcome!

So you are south of Hamilton? Any particular region? I'm from Wainfleet which is only like 40 minutes away.
