So then, what would be a good bulb that would be a one to one replacement for the stock bulb and need no modifications then?? I was thinking for low AND high beams??

Get HIDs, the only way to go. They are brighter, last longer, and just plan kick ass. worth every penny.

ANd, as I mentioned in my post, are they a direct replacement for the bulbs I have now? ie. I pull out my bulb and pop in the HID?? |

for the most part, yes. just gotta mount the ballasts. bulb plugs into ballasts, ballast plug into stock bulb harness.

I have plasmaglow's in mine and they come with at least a 10 yr warrenty.

Plasmaglow??? is that filament bulb, or HID?

and I found them on another site for $19.00.

What about amber bulbs. Then wire them to work along with turn signals like the Bonneville.
