Quad Transformer

well I finally got the block back from the machine shop and below are the pics of my twin cam transformed into a Quad

-wiesco pistons
-eagle rods
-and the 2.3 oil pump swap

now she waits until i modify the oil pan to fit.

Total with parts and labor was 1,750 and thats not including that i still have to get the oil pan modified. The guy didnt want to do it but he still charged me 200 bucks just to do the oil pump swap.

looks good, so what exactly did you get, or is it all factory specs? the quad 4 was a 2.3 wasn't it??

yeah its still a 2.4 but I did the 2.3 oil pump swap and forged internals

well the effen guy charged me 200 just to do the 2.3 Quad oil pump swap, so in order to remove the balance shaft and run the car without it you must do the 2.3 oil pump swap.

considering the machining and making sure the new oil hole is at the right angle and the being able to do it right $200 is a fair price. The cost is more of engineering rather than actual machine time.
