single or dual flowmaster super 44's

right now i have a single 44 muffler with tip, and i want the people of aleromod to help me out, im debating on waiting the 2 weeks to get my next pay check and get another 44 tip and have a dual exhaust, but i also dont want to wait that long.

so where you guys/girls come in is, what would look/sound better single 44 or dual 44's?

or

could i have the 44 put on now and in two weeks make it a dual? with out having to buy a whole new muffler and tip?

save your money and do it right the first time. thats what i think. i'm currently getting all my pieces for my exhaust. i really want to slap it together. but i dont feel like taking it in a few times till it's done.

and i like dual exhaust. the single or dual is your choice.
if you want dual. wait the little longer and just get dual

i'd go duals, swapped my old pacesetter dual setup up for a straight pipe setup and i really miss the way it looked.

OK it you want duals from one flowmaster, get an 80

Please do it right, take the car to a body shop and have a second cutout installed on the bumper

Yeah IMO i think that dual exhausts look really cool. but i always hate when you then go look under the car and it is just a Y pipe towards the end of the car and its not a true dual. , i would rather go all out true dual exhaust. and make it look good, because your going to be putting some good money into it right?

You do realize there is such thing as too big of an exhaust, and true duals on a 3400 fits that category (you couldn't actually do true duals on an LD9 without a new manifold). If you do "true duals" (without a balance pipe), you wind up with two 3cyl engines and so little exhaust flow that you would need close to 2" pipe to keep exhaust velocities up. Even with a balance pipe or x-pipe, 2.25" pipe would be on the large side and you would probably make your low end useless.

Stick with single exhaust and if you insist on dual mufflers, split it off with a y by the rear axle or use a single in/dual out muffler and route the tail pipes.
