hey has anyone really looked into this set up?? i called them and they said it would cost about $3125 for it to be installed into my alero, thats if you have 2"+ exhaust pipes. He also said they have it on a Tacoma (which is a 3.4L V6 also) and when they dynoed the truck with a supercharger the HP was 170 to the ground, and when the put this turbo set-up it was 212 to the ground. Oh and i forgot you DONT have to tap the oil pan, run a intercooler, and it replaces the muffler and will pass smog laws... Let me know if it would be a GOOD or BAD buy?? www.ststurbo.com/home

I wouldn't buy it unless I actually drove a car with it installed. There was talk about this type of setup a couple of weeks ago on these boards. I'm still skeptical and think that there would be way to much turbo lag.

Don't go cheap on something like this. Spend the extra grand and get something better. The ones I'm looking at are around 5000 - 6500 range add around 80 - 90 HP.

Well paul last I checked your not on the prebuy list.
18 months yea, but thats also gone through other builders that fell through, with me its different, plus you dunno what goes into making the kit so be careful what you say. Right now there might be another method that me and oldsman are discusssing.
This is why im being choosey who gets the kit, some just dont understand what Ive gone through to do this
