Crazy Electrical Problems
To start, I had a dead battery. I removed the battery, took it to the Autoshop and they recharged it for me. They said it was fully charged, and had 504 cold cranking amps.
Go home reinstall battery, car starts to turn over and then looses all power. About 5 minutes later I try to turn the car to ACC and it gets power for about two seconds then looses all power again. I through my hands up in despair and decide I need a new battery, I quit screwing with it around 940 at night.
Just for craps and giggles, today at around 5pm I tried unlocking the car doors with the remote, it worked, so then I locked them, then unlocked them. It worked fine. I figure crap, maybe it was just some crazy bug the car had in it, I hop in the car attempt to start it, it starts to turn over, then looses all power, AGAIN.
Is this some battery problem, or have I fried something in the system, and I'm pretty much screwed. For additional background information, I have a code reader, and it isn't getting any power to the port, the last time I was able to run the code reader, I didn't receive any error messages. If you have any ideas I would appreciate them.

battery post connections
when they are corroded, they will pass small amounts of power, but fail when you ask more of it.. (start up/turn over)
Check your ground cable and positive cable for rust and nicks..
And before you troubleshoot any further, get a battery your sure of..

Mix some baking soda and water, and pour it over your battery terminal connections.
make sure they are good and tight, then try to start it.

i had it where the battery terminal actually broke off inside the battery due to acid defect and it was giving me the sane symptoms as you so if you can't get it to do anything after cleaning off the terminals and such, try another battery...

OK, cleaned off the terminals and I have constant power now but it still won't crank over, is this a bad battery or is this just going to be the 5th starter I have had to replace?

Damn had trouble logging in but I had the exact same problem last winter and I had my battery charged several times, and I check the alternator, and everything. Then went to sams club bought a battery and problem solved. Sorry man could have helped you sooner!
