What Now? Runnin Out of Ideas

Okay so here is the deal, I just came into a couple hundred bucks so i have budgeted myself about $400 approximately for the alero. Problem is i dont know where to spend it. Honestly i cant think of what to do next, here is my mod list.
DPP Ported Heads, Intakes, and TB
CAI, Front STB
Crossdrilled rotors w/ ceramic pads all around
Custom tuned pcm
FFP UD Pulley
Intrax springs, KYB GR2 struts
Speedbuilt rear sway bar
2.5" cat back w/ flowmaster delta 40
180* tstat.
berfore everyone tells me to buy headers, A. they are out of the budget, and B. im hoping to have jeremy (Germ) turbo it next summer so headers would be a waste. I was thinking of doing the 36# injectors and an adjustable FPR but im not sure if ill pick up any power from that. but it will be helpful come turbo time. So what i am asking is what you guys suggest for the next go fast goodie for my car?

i think ultimately you will need a the ability to custom tune it yourself, DHP PowrTuner is $400. there ya go.

who/how did you tune it last time??

or you could get a new cam.

i dont think an N/A cam would work well with a turbo in a year. As for the tune ill just say that my parents house is like 40 min from Germ's nuff said... Im kinda nervous about the powertunr though, i might know a little about the mechanical aspect of a car but when it comes to tuning no way. Is it difficult to learn? Plus i was reading the thread you or Jabartram started about the tuner and the manual it came with, i have enough homework right now being a college student. I was thinking about it though. I kinda need to weigh the options.

MMS offers cams for supercharged applications, i really dont know much about forced induction but maybe it would work for turbo also??

he would be willing to do it for me i think but thats not the point. Anyone have input on the injectors and fpr? or the difficulty of learning the powertunr?

where would you get the 36# injectors from? have you calculated the duty cycle of the stockers? i ask this because my mods almost mirror yours and it is something that i will be looking into as well.

mms offers the 36# injectors with the required parts for $250. And i have no idea how to calculate duty cycle or even what it really is, that is why i am asking what everyone else thinks.

depends on how much boost you are planning on running?

If you're staying with low boost (6-10psi) those 36# injectors will be fine. If you're planning on more than 12psi, I'd step up to the 42.5's at a minimum. Problem is, if you run the 42.5's or higher, they're very difficult to tune for on a N/A setup without higher compression that requires the fuel increase. In short, your mods would run kinda rough on the 42.5's, but they'd be perfect for the boost coming down the road.

You may also consider a Walbro 255 lph fuel pump upgrade for the coming boost. Injectors+Walbro, and there's your $400.

BJ i probably wouldnt be running more than 7-9 psi since i dont have the cash for a new tranny every 30,000 miles and i kinda drive my car like a rooster. My major question though is will i see gains from the injectors when i put them in? or will it be a supporting mod that will do nothing until i turbo? also is the adjustable fpr a good idea as well or will that be money wasted?

with the right tuning, you'll see a gain. Is it (injectors) a bolt-on-and-go gain? no. You'll have to have your fuel delivery curves changed along with timing. Also, adjustable FPR will do nothing for you right now.

yup, looking over your mods, I'd recommend a FFP underdrive pulley and some phenolic spacers. Should give you a nice gain, and will be useable now/later. The spacers goes between your UIM and LIM, prevents as much heat soak to your UIM and helps lower intake temps significantly. UD pulley I'm sure you already know the benefits of.

yea, save your money for when you get the turbo next summer, from planning my supra out, ive realized ive gotta build everything around how much horsepower im gonna be running from a turbo setup. with the high powered turbo comes a rebuilt beefier engine, a tranny swap, a tougher drive shaft, an LSD, along with a AEM standalone, etc....you dont really know what all you will run into until you get the turbo kit installed and go from there, some things might pop up you didnt intend or think might pop up as needing upgraded.

hell ive started going through everything i can think of on my supra project and ive already got two complete pages filled with parts, and still keep coming up with more shit.

basically you will get into it deep real quick, so just save the money and be prepared. im lucky to be working with an engine that is naturally a turbocharged engine, so not as much will be suprises as with an engine that isnt normally turbocharged.

and thats not to mention ill be doing all the wrenching myself, except for when i go get it dyno tuned after the build is complete, and im planning on setting aside about a grand for that, because after all the tune is the most important part to getting the most out of what your setup is

See the thing is either i spend the money on the car or i end up wasting it on other crap and end up having no idea where it went. Id rather spend it on the car. Any other ideas? you dont have to follow what i said i was thinking about just throw em out there.

Ooops BJ i already have the pulley, i just forgot to list it. What do you think about the lightened alt pulley? worth it?

are the phoenelic spacers, just to clarify between the intake manifolds, meaning i would only have to remove the upper? If that is right i may do that. Also what do you think about a larger TB, i have a 56mm ported by jeremy but im not sure if i will gain anything by going bigger, i remember him saying that i would need more than 9 psi to max out the stock tb does that sound correct?

Headers would help that set up nice. Save up a few more bucks and get them.

With the heads, and manifolds, you'd be set
