ALL RIGHT SO I BOUGHT THESE 18" EPIC INTERCEPTOR. SO HERE IS MY PROBLEM I DON'T LIKE THE APPEARANCE. IT SITS A LITTLE ON THE HIGH SIDE. I WANT TO DROP IT ABOUT 2" SO THAT THE CAR IS SITTING ON TOP OF THE TIRES. WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO GO ABOUT LOWERING THE ALERO. ANYBODY LEND A HELPING WORDS OF ADVICE.

get a blow touch and heat the spring till it starts get bright red and it will start to bend slightly and the car will lower itself. great mod

WHAT WOULD YOU GO WITH I AM NOT WANTING TO SPEND A poop LOAD OF MONEY. DO I JUST NEED TO DO THE SPRINGS IT DROP IT OR STRUTS TO.

CAPS LOCK OFF!! DAMN!!!
lowering springs= cheapest way to go
coil overs= poopty ride trust me i know
air ride= best choice by far way improved handling performance
allot of money
hydro`s not worth it

you don't NEED new struts, but new struts would make re-assembly a bit easier, plus it would look better under there.

yeah don't go coilovers. bad ride trust me (have them on the Nissan and well its so rough my chest hurts after awhile) Springs and struts cheapest way to go.

lol It was in the Nissan (BF's car) which has Tein Superdrift coilovers... they adjust 16 different ways. 1 being soft 16 hard. they are on like 4 and still ride rough, but you can corner anything at 70 mph. They were worth the $1500 lol

i say get drop springs and do it your self all you need is a impact and a few jack stands
i have had coil overs they suck i also cut my coils that worked good but i was told it wasent to safe. the heating your coils will give you a bouncy ride and i have air now great performance but with big bumps it is a little rough
