lol i was sitting at the computer, and i hear a truck dirve up the driveway, and it sounded liek a big truck so i went out side, and a fed ex truck was leaving , and i see a package, and i had no idea what it was, so i open it. and its in a AC Delco box, and i thought to myself "i didnt order any AC Delco poop" and it turned out to be my new lockign gas cap!!!!!! :gun2:
but anyways, it took me a few minutes to understand how it worked because the key satys in it when you unlock it, and it seems like it turns the opposite way of the stock gas cap.
i am very satisifed with it, because now i know i can park anywhere, with anyone who hates an alero, and not worry abotu anyone f***ign with my gas. since it was a 1 2 step thing to get to.
i highly rcomend this to anyone who wants a little bit more security to thier car. i know glowbot and Redog had some vandalisim problems, so i strongly recommend this! only 22$

Yeah but they tried to take the entire car
I have the same thing. I bought mine from GM about 3 months after I bought the car, it doesn't lock either

I've been thinking about one of those for a long time, may last 2 cars had them built in (sometimes Olds need a clue). Thanks for the reminder!

Not worried about $30 of gas getting stolen, more concerned with some roostertard tossing stuff in my tank and having $1000's of dollars in repairs as a result.

Oh yeah, it is a pain, I used to drive a truck with 2 locking caps and each had a separate lock with a different key (but both keys looked the same ). But there's actually an easy guideline to determine whether or not you should get a locking gas cap. Compare the cost of repairing the damage from sugar gas (and the probabilty of it happening) to an extra 30 seconds per fuel fill for your car. Based on your wage and impenetrability of your garage and security parking stall you should be able to figure it out.

or just protection from that crazy ex girlfriend lol
sounds like a pretty good buy, how was the installation? shouldn't have been too hard, just removed the old one and put the locking one on? and Cyber Knight has a good point ^^

i think i got mine off ebay.......i think it ended up at like 14 bucks shipped......and i dont know where u get 30 seconds from, i can get mine on and off in like 5 seconds.......piece of cake, and its definately worth it rather than someone dumping some crap in my gas tank, its never happened and i wanna keep it that way, kids see a nice car and wanna mess it up around here or break into it........so just protection
