Wheel Bearings from E bay accars2006

Bought some wheel bearings from this seller.

Both bearings installed and work without issue. My grinding noise is gone and my dash lights are off.

Good seller, pretty fast shipping (in stock items) and a great deal. I got both for $119 shipped.

I will also note that after replacing my wheel bearings Ive noticed a difference in the RPM to speed ratio.

Before I was first line over 2K to hit 60. Now Im at 1750 RPM.

I hope I regain some gas mileage!

I ordered wheel bearings from accars also, as part of my extensive overhaul. Haven't installed them yet, but they arrived very quick. Definitely a good deal. Glad to hear all is well with them.

One bearing had some cosmetics. Probably a rework at the factory. Nothing major, but it caught my eye.

Still no issues. Think my CV joints/axles are out now though. Strange rubber noise? Had this before with the bearing grind... still there...

Update on gas mileage.

Before the wheel bearing I was only getting 265 miles to 12.4 gallons = 21.4 MPG

Now that summer blend gas is back, and with new bearings. 300 miles 11.56 gallons = 26 MPG

3400 V6

Damn...before I parked my ho I was getting 27mpg avg. with leaky head gaskets, bad axles, bad wheel bearings, 245 tires and god only knows what else. I'm thinking I might actually see 33mpg hwy again once I give her a thorough overhaul.

How are you getting 33 MPG? Its only rated for 20 MPG highway and that number from my understanding is far fetched...?

So your getting like 410 miles per tank? Cause when my light comes on, I usually put in 12.4 gallons or VERY close to it.

Fuel Data

EPA Fuel Economy Est - Hwy (MPG) 32

Ive always found this disturbing. 14.3 gallons? My light comes on its a 12.4 gallon fill up.

I drive a mixed city/highway... so 27 is cool.

toddbobby is an unknown quantity at this point
your light comes on before you are empty so you dont get stuck on the side of the road. I have gone about another 50-60 km after my light came on. I was in the country and no gas station was around. i probably cut it pretty close though.

Those are the old ratings, I was sourcing the new revised ratings from http://www.fueleconomy.gov/

Well today we got problems.

My ABS, Tac OFF and service engine light all came on. So I know what that means.

Now to see how they handle that 90 day warranty, if they will. This is my only car. Cant let it sit while bearing are in transit...
