transmisson question

Can I take a 3.8 v6 transmisson and bolt it to my 3.4?

Please only use one thread. Not trying to sound mean, but you could have asked this question in your other transmission thread.

But the answer is yes, a 4t65e transmission will bolt up, but you will need custom mounts as well to bolt the trans in if I remember right.

Sorry I'm new to this and thnx I just found 1 for $50 but I want to make sure I can use it I really don't have money to be guessing

Don't bother.

Yes you will have to tune the PCM because all the shift points and gear sets are different. It's not hard to change the gear set in the computer, but you have to find someone with HPTuners to do it.

Just find a 4t45 trans from an Alero V6 or a Grand Am SE. the GT had a different FDR so again, another tuning issue

I'm going to try putting a new servo in mine and see if that fixes it
