ok, I just spent crazy time to make a diagram like yours, showing what I had originally planned, and now I think I understand yours better. none the less, here is my diagram.

My idea was running all speaker wire, and leaving the LOC's near the amp, so I could use the RCA outputs of that right into the amp.

After wasting that time, I think I am going to return my speaker wire for a smaller spool (what guage?) and buy 2 sets of 12' RCA cables.

Two questions. Why do you have two line out converters going to the sub amp. Use a two channel LOC and rca y adaptor and save the money.
Question two. Do you have the LOC and rear High level speaker wire going to the amp. I could't tell what the rear speakers blue line was indicating.

Mike - My amp came with 2 LOC's. Each one has 4 wires going into it and 2 RCA's comming out, (+ and -) Left and (+ and -) Right In, Red and White RCA out.

So, I would run my front speakers through one LOC to channels 1 and 2, and the back speaker wire (which will power the sub) through the other LOC into channels 3 and 4.

I used different colors on the LOC's because the wiring on it is different so you can tell the difference for the channels.

The more I look at these pictures, the dumber I realize I am, lol.

Me and tenny's pics have the same connections for the LOC's. The difference is he recomends running RCA's back to the amp and leaving the LOC's behind the radio, where I was going to run speaker wire back, and leave the LOC's with the amp. His idea would make a much cleaner looking install.

Then, I had thought about using the rear speaker wire for the sub, and running new wire back to the doors, but again the cleaner idea, is to use the back wire for the front speakers, since it is already run. Then I just need to run new wire from the amp to sub.

Ok enough rambling, it looks like tenny's diagram is the cleanest and easiest option, as long as I don't have trouble behind the radio...

i'm not 100% sure but i don't think the front speaker outputs off the radio have as full a sound range as the rears (i don't think they get as much bass signal as the rear speakers) anyways i spliced my LOC off the rear speakers in the trunk and tucked it up under spring bar under the rear dash then ran an RCA to the amp which was also in the trunk mounted to my sub box. My setup is gonna be changing tho when the nice weather gets here. I'll share in a new thread when i get things started.

front and rear outputs are the exact same, regardless he is still going to use the rear outputs for the sub, that way his fade still works

and he's using 2 x LOC's instead of a y adapter because he has a 4 channel amp and is amping the front speakers, putting a sub in and does not want the 6x9's hooked up.

Agreed. I think the front and rear's are the same. The difference is that 6x9's can produce a wider range of frequencies than the 4x6's can, therefor you hear more bass with the same adjustment.

IMO LOC's are garbage.... Get a deck. you can get a deacent deck for 150-200 bones...

150 - 200 plus a mounting kit and wiring kit plus tax

I had a kenwood deck in that price range and after about a year and a half it died on me, I put the stock deck in with LOC's and it sounds just as good. Plus I have my chimes back, it looks a hell of a lot better then with an aftermarket deck and the risk of theft goes waaaaaay down.

Bingo. Aftermarket decks themselves look cool, but I don't like how they look in new cars.

I believe the sexiest OEM HU has to go to infinity M. Check out the website. It is even lined in rosewood with optional 17 speaker infinity system.
