Yeah, the box is pretty much done. I used the plans provided by JL. It turned out really nice. Waiting for the glue to dry. Right now im soddering my connections for the terminals on the side of the box.

I didnt do any extra bracing, the box is quite small, only .725 cubes. It is slot ported so that provides some more support. The port is about 30 inches in length and 1.25 in width and 10.5 in height. It says this will make it tuned to about 37hz. But I dont know. This morning when my uncle and I were trying to make sense of the plans we did a little checking of the numbers. The plans call for a slot length of 30 inchs. But the plans only provide for a 28inch port. So thats what we did. I dont know how this will affect the sound of the sub. If im really not happy with it ill build another around christmas time.

I can't comment on ported enclosures. I have a hard enough time with sealed. If you are unsure, there are a couple of guys here that are quite good with enclosures. Otherwise, elitecaraudio or caraudio.com are pretty good sites.

yeah, Im a member of caraudio.com, A few guys were offering to design a box for me for cheap. But I think the box I have now should work fine. Ill find out sonner or later. Looks like Ill have to wait a bit before I get it in. If I have time Ill do all my rewiring sometime this week. But im back to school tomorrow and today I have another project to do.
