Stock Security

Ya.. so my security is stopping me from starting my car. I have to go out and unlock , then relock the passenger door for it start . So i dunno what to do , i dont care about security and dont wanna replace, just wondering If i can get a new security key or whatever just to stop that from happening .

Sorry about the luck. My sister in law had a malibu that was doing the same thing. On her car, the security was not in the key but the lock and ignition. You might look up passlock 1, 11, or 111 and see what info they have. You can bypass the ignition pretty easy, so I would think that you could do the same with the door lock. It might help to take it to a dealer and get a free quote on what is wrong. It may be something else entirely.
