In-dash Lcd

This is that screen I bought off ebay for $200 including the molded dash piece. I thought it was a steal. (and it will be if i dont get that alarm ive been wanting lol)

It looks rough because I didnt fiberglass anything, just took a dremel tool and chizzled away at it. Its not smooth, but I'm an amatuer and am happy with how it turned out.

Looks good, and brings back memories. What model is that HU? I had the CDX-M800. If you would have cut up higher (right below the a/c controls) and cut out the 12v outlet, that deck would fit perfectly and you would have still had the pocket. Other than that, not bad. How's the quality on that screen?

qualitiy is good, i dont know what to compare it to, but i think its sharp, the Hu is the CDX-M8810

i like it, any chances u could get some pics of the back side of the screen? curious how its supported and all.

I'm not about to take it all off again, but this is a side view, it looks like a mounting box, that he glued onto the dash and then filled it in and molded it to be smooth (he being whoever made it)
