Well I have finnaly got some time to upgrade my power wire and install my amp and sub. ill be posting pics later tonight if all goes well.

well got 99% of the wiring done. Was more work than I thought. Need to bring power from my distro to the amp and hook up the remote wire, carpet the box, put in the sub and im done. So Ill have pics up tomorrow afternoon sometime.

Better Late then never.
Head Unit:
Power: Im upgrading the ground to a single length of 0/1.
The Sub: Its in a slot ported box, 12Hx22Wx10.5D approx 0.75cuft.
The Amps and Distro: 0/1 to 4ga distro, PG Xenon 100.4, JL 500/1
So far ive listened to the setup for about an hour. It needs a little fine tuning but man does that thing hit hard. Currently the sub amp is gained to about half. Now this is quite a bit less than what it can handle, but like I said i have a bit of tuning to do.
i used a 50Hz test tone and gained the amp to 31.6V, according to JL's website. But it was so dam loud I had to turn it down a bit. Ill play with the mids and highs over the next few days and try to find a happy medium. I need to get my hands on a SPL metre. I think I could easily hit 150db.
well there you go.
The last thing left is to install the rear stage. And begin planning the video section. And yes I will clean up the wiring and most likely build an amp rack. But for now Im happy. It took me 5 1/2 months to get all this gear together and find the time to get it installed, after those f***ing theives stole my last system. Well If they come looking again they are in for one hell of a surprise. :smack:

^I meant to say I could probably hit 140db not 150db. Id need a hell of a lot more of everything to hit 150.....
