Cb Radio

Well, after they fixed the car pretty good, and I had the alarm installed. there isnt much room to put a CB anymore. I am wondering if anyone has heard of the kind of CB where everything is built into the microphone, and you dont have to worry about placing the unit any where, that would be a good idea for not drilling any holes or putting the CB anywhere? Any one know what I am talking about?

i haven't been under the av section in a while, but i have the cobra 19 i believe and have it in my center console under the armrest... i never had anything in there but cd cases and cans of chew... so it worked out pretty well... u can here it pretty well if i have the windows up and the radio not cranked up... but theres an idea i figured i would give ya

The Cobra 75 I posted the link above has a base to remote mount (under seat) and all the controls and screen up on the mic.

AHHH lol Ok I have a CB in my car its a cobra not sure which one but i made a How to: about putting it in the glove box...Its nice...you dont see it when you dont want to, and if you modd the glove box right you dont even havta have it open to use the radio. Plus the glove box is REALLY easy to run wires to and from, check out the how to

The mechanic at work just put one of these in his pick up. http://www.cobra.com/index.php?page=shop/f...uct_id=333&id=1 It's got a decent looking faceplate with blue lighting. The antenna lights up blue when the mic is keyed. Not my cup of tea but thought someone here might like it.
