What model are the infinities? I had a 12" Kappa Perfect and I was VERY pleased with it. Great quality sound with the spl to match. But 2 of them with a box and 1000w amp for 300, doesn't sound like they are the Perfects.

pioneer has some decent middle of the line stuff. its ok, but not for the spl fanatic. i'd get the model numbers of what you have and what he has... go to like sounddomain.com and compare them. for $300 i wouldn't want to get shafted w/ bad subs.

If the infinities are the black ones, I wouldn't bother too much. But if they are white, they are either the Kappas, the Kappa Perfects, or the VQs. Doubt they are the VQs though. If they are Kappas I'd hook up the IMPPs and then those and compare how you like them. If they are the Perfects (12.1 is the model #) go ahead and sign the contract.

Ahh, reference series. I wouldn't do it. They are towards the bottom of Infinity's lineup. You can get brand new Perfects off ebay for $93 each. What happened to your IMPPs?
