You might also wanna look into getting a dremel or similiar cutting tool for the swap, I know that when I threw my sony deck in, some of the back plastic had to be cut out, and I know some people with kenwoods have had the same problem. Also, a neat idea that I've been meaning to do is if your deck has an Aux Input jack on the back, run a set of RCA's so that you can hook up an I-POD or MP3 player, or anything else to the player at your convenience without having to dig around back later on...

Well the cutting depends on the kit you get. The first install kit I bought recesed the radio so the face was flush with the kit and the radio woulm't fit with out cutting. The second one I bought had just the ace of thew radio sticking out (when you remove the face its flush) which worked out better for me when I molded the radio in cause now the face is flush with the bezel and I didn't have to cut anything.

The install should take about 40 minutes to an hour depending on what all you have to hook up and how you do it... if you get the proper wiring harness it'll save you a lot of time and effort, it did with mine, refrance cutting the dash.. i was able to get my Alpine 7893 in without it.. but its tight.. i had to modify the mounting kit... but i prolly will later...lol
