Alright heres the shpeal, the CF hood is ordered, and my dad and I were talking, at first I told myself not to count on getting a kit out of the insurance deal with my current fender-bender. But since I am doing ALL the work by myself, we are going to have extra money to spend, and the rear bumper also needs to be replaced. So I ran the idea of getting the AAS kit by my dad, I could get it for cheaper than two GM bumper covers with my VIP discount. My dads hangar use to be for painting planes, and we know someone who is going to let us borrow the "professional" painting equipment.
The only thing that is holding me back, is that if I do this, the only performance mod I will have by ASS is an exaust and intake.... Doesn't it seem weird to have a kitted car w/ a CF hood and only exaust and intake???
give me your oppinions on the idea, NOT THE KIT

i think everyone knows my opinion on the AAS kit. personally i'd get the razzi(since i obviously did) if i didnt want to spend 2k on the *** kit.
but as mentioned earlier theres nothing wrong with being all show no go, thats what my car is at the moment.

Heck yeah, Rev! If you've got everything you ned to do it all yourselves, do it. You have the opportunity to get the kit now, you can always do performance mods later, nothing wrong with that.

Its a step forward either way...depends on what you are after speed or looks.
Best advice I can give you. Speed gets you in trouble and looks get s you attention.

I would say no on any kit, especially that one. If you do get one, get the Razzi. I like how the Alero looks with its stock body lines.

I said yes. Agreed with the others. I don't mind all show and no go. My friend has a nice Civic Hatchback that looks sweet. He's getting ready to do an engine swap and his car is for show only.

I say yes even though you were a jackass for getting those threads closed. You dont have to have all the performance mods to look good. You are already spending the money to fix the car. Damn... make it look better.
