Number 8 of final 500

Hey everyone I'm new to the boards here. My last car was stolen and totaled in December of 07. I never really even heard of Aleros before I started lookin for cars but instantly fell in love. I luckily landed on a final 500 model and didn't realize how cool it was til after I got it. I haven't done anything other than tint the windows and don't really plan on much since it's a final 500. I do like the look of the cleared headlights though. What do you all think? Here's a pic of when I first got the car and one recently after 20% tint all around and a fresh coat of wax.

Welcome to the site!! And I would leave it stock other then maybe a little system and some proper rims. I wouldn't do body mods or even clear the corners.

the last 500 cars to roll off the Oldsmobile production line were all aleros. The last 500 have their numbers in a little medal near a door if i remember correctly, someone will correct me i'm sure. hehe. Basically its having part of history. I dunno if they had any special packaged stuff, but they're pretty nifty.

Didnt they number the last 500 Bravadas as well?

welcome to the site. nice car good choice

I would do a nice system. ( something that can be removed if sold ) a nice fiberglass sub box and am rack color matched to the car or leather matched to the seats would be awsome. also I would put a final 500 with your car number in a lit plexy center piece in the trunk.

clear a set of head lights and color match em to the car.

body mods- No

set of springs to lower it.

winter set of steels so the final 500 wheels stay pretty

no you can get em kinda reasonable but some day they may be worth more. it just the fact that you can own one of the final 500 aleros off the line. I would have one along with mine if the money was there.

Welcome to the forums, Oline59.

You're lucky to have a Final 500 ... keep everything original as is possible. If you do want to change something, do it in the manner Trickyslick suggested.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I think I might try to find some spare headlights to clear em. That's a good idea. I do eventually want to put a sound system in it but can't really afford anything right now and I don't want to put anything valuable in it until I move out of the ghetto. My last car was stolen and one of my neighbors was murdered in their apartment this year so I'll be glad to leave when my lease is up in a month. I'm movin back in with my dad while I finish up school so I'll be able to save some money. I don't really want to mess with the suspension and I kinda like the stock wheels that came with it and living in central Florida I don't need any winter wheels. I haven't experienced winter since I went to Indiana like 6 years ago. I won't be doin too much for a while until I get my housing situated. I'll keep you all updated if I do anything. Until then I'll just be checkin out all of your rides. Catcha all lata!
