Thank you for the enlightening.

IMO, 186 hp at the wheels for an engine that is rated around 180 hp at the crank is pretty sweet for an NA. My guess is that he has around 230 hp at the crank considering theres like a 20% loss of power in the drivetrain + accessories.

You tore into the engine and used hypereutectic pistons?! They are minutely better than stock. Why not forged? And why no forged rods?

I coulda sworn I saw a "-t" on that one, indicating a turbocharger. KA24's were meant for light-duty trucks and aren't the most popular for boost.....

im not sure bone stock si is really a good descriptive term, since si is a sport tuned model packing 210 crank on a lighter platform. dynoing 187 wheel on a 3400 na, with the tuning issues present, is impressive. and you really shouldnt douche up this thread with your bullshit. this is the second thread youve tried to derail with ur 6vs4 bullshit.

haha yea the good old turbo 4cylinder putting down less than a na 6? im not sure what that comment was supposed to prove, but it missed the mark

but if the A/F ratio was anywhere near accurate those HP numbers will increase drastically with bigger injectors and a tune

A stock 3400 is probably about 150 WHP on a good day with an automatic.
