Quick A/C Help!!

Ok, i'm checking my AC to see if its leaking or seized (got a UV kit) and i just want to make sure the "low side" of the AC is back behind the alternator, right?

make sure i'm connecting this into the right spot...

high pressure side would be fun to use

yeah the low one is the one way in the back

the high side one is up by the radiator?

and just as a personal fyi, is the low side one always covered with a blue cap?

The caps on many cars are both black. The size of the HP and LP ports are different.

mines blue.. idk i can beleive they put the low pressure one there tho it was annoying to jam my hand back in

The low pressure side on mine also has a blue cap. Normal for this is blue or black on the low pressure side.

on R134A system the low side has a smaller port fitting than the high side. And yes the low side is down there near the firewall.

after this long, kinda goes w/o saying that i got it, and recharged the system. apparently the last time we did it, it wasn't securely connected in, so it should be good for now.
