Cool I need some brake rotors, this week.
Nevermind. Original plans, $120 for R1Concepts diamond slotted and drilled zinc coated rotors that have ridiculous amounts of good feedback, or $345 before discount from you. Hm.

I've had them on the shelf for a while now, and trying to get them sold. Unfortunately, I can't sell them as cheap as $120/set. 40% off puts them at $207/set.

Shipped? If so that's not bad since the R1's are $180 shipped.

Yes, our PCM's offer all of DHP's features, plus a few more. We do not do any A/F adjustments due to the variance between vehicles, but can make changes with the customer's consent.
I haven't seen DHP's code, but I do believe our PCM is more agressive. it's also very dialed in so youhave a smooth transition beween street driving at low throttle positions, and a much more aggressive at higher throttle.

We offered a sale on our p&p'd intakes along with a number of our other products from the beginning of December until the second week of January. We try to change things up a little bit when we have sales.

So what did you guys think about the sale?
Did it end too fast? Would you guys like some more notice on the next one? Did you like the products featured? Any other comments?

I'll try to give some more notice next time I offer up a sale like this one.
As far as posting in the for sale section, I figured this would get more attention.

Comparing to DHP isn't impressive considering the DHP 1.5 file is not good to use. When you say aggressive, what does that mean exactly? Spark timing? You don't touch A/F so I am left to wonder what you do change.

The list of changes we make to the PCM can be found on the website ...
The Milzy Motorsports Powertrain Control Module (PCM) is great for stock to mildly modded cars with induction mods and exhaust mods.
The features are: - Removal of all speed limiters
- Higher shift points
- Higher rev limiter
- Shift firmness adjusted
- Ignition timing advanced
- Cooling fan control (180°)
- Cooling fans on at key-off for 180 seconds
- Rear O2 Bank code removed
- Etc.
At request: - Codes removed
- Torque management
- A/F adjustments
--------
We do make changes to torque management by raising in out of range, but if the customer wants it eliminated altogether, they need to request that.

Ok, so this isn't a hp increase so much as limiters/fans/trans settings? I dunno what etc means nor what aggressive means.

There is a horsepower increase. We usually get about 8-12whp gain from a pcm. We can usually get about 5-10whp more from dynotuning. Our increased timing table increases power output, as does some of the torque limit removal.
As far as not doing A/F adjustments automatically, here is my logic behind that (from a post on another forum, a response to another PCM programming company)...
We don't make a/f adjustments without wideband data (with the exception of some idle/cruise changes we make in the Stage 1 and Stage 2 pcm's). Cars run differently depending on many factors such as the health of their fuel pump, cleaness of their MAF sensor, etc. It would not make sense to tune the A/F ratio without sufficient data. If you'd prefer to make these changes in the PCM's you sell without knowing first what the current A/F ratio is, that's your decision, I just don't need the liability of leaning out the ratio and someone blowing their engine because of it. If the customer wants the A/F ratio perfectly tuned, they can bring it in and we can put it on a dyno, or do a street tune, but without a wideband, you're not going to get perfect results.
Now the MAF is designed to read the amount of incoming air and command the appropriate fuel. And as long as the fuel pump is in good shape and the MAF is clean, and everything is running smoothly, the MAF does an excellent job in adapting to new mods. Most of the time, it's a little bit rich like say 12:1 or maybe fatter, but if i assumed to make the adjustments to put it at the perfect AFR, a car that may not run that rich due to its own circumstances will now be even leaner, and maybe even dangerously lean to create a major detonation problem.
I will agree that the stock AFR isn't perfectly optimal for the most hp, but when I send out a pcm, the car will run at the same ratio as it was with the stock pcm and be just as reliable. A couple hp more isn't worth damaging something when you don't have all the facts.

Ok, so you have seen 22whp increase from tuning alone? Is this a stock motor?

I didn't say we got 22, I said this ... "We usually get about 8-12whp gain from a pcm. We can usually get about 5-10whp more from dynotuning"
Technically one time i did get 60+ whp from tuning alone on a stock 99 grand am gt, but the car had a very dirty maf. The amount of power you can pick up through tuning depends on how the car is running to begin with, and the modifications it has.
