You know, you think that we could have a legit thing for fun on this site, to let people who have nice cars get some well deserved recognition.

I am actually very disapointed in the people who did this. It doesn't show a lot of respect for this community in my opinion.

From now on, I am adding a rule to the AOTM contest rules.... if you are caught padding votes, you will automatically be disqualified from ever being nominated for AOTM again. I'm sorry to have to do that, but if we don't, there is no point to the contest.

I don't think yall realize that we do AOTM as something fun for yall. It's certainly not much fun for us. It's very time consuming to set up, selecting cars/pics that would be competative, observing and verifying everything.

I felt bad about having to remove NoSweat for two 'bogus' accounts especially after hearing his side. Yes they were still semi-bad votes, but at least he could back it up with two legitament people.

Then as I am checking things tonight I come across you with THIRTEEN BOGUS accounts made in the past week!!!! You probably made NoSweat feel bad and embarassed by hounding and making fun of him for being removed. And all you have to say is "lololol?" I'm certain all the people that voted for you find it funny that their vote was wasted on you.

I apologize for sounding mean or being a hard ass. But this just wasted most of my night checking all this crap out. For something that is supposed to be fun. yeehaa. <_<

Maybe we should just go to a "picture of the week" kind of thing since it seems we can't handle a simple thing like AOTM contests.

I don't know about that. Hopefully this will serve as a lesson for people to grow the hell up and play by the rules. Hell, if you are old enough to drive and own a car, you should be mature enough to follow the basic rules and guidelines that have been set forth for AOTM.

i knew there was no way pimp could get all those votes over nosweat. two padded votes or not, nosweat has the best exterior mods, hands down.

Congrats Chris! I voted (once) for you, because I know your car has a lot of hard work and creativity put into it. IMO, that's worth more than just a body kit and tint. Everyone else looks great though, I'd never park next to you!

no1 cheated.......if 3 names come from the same computer (IP address) it just means 3 people signed up from that computer......I know for a FACT that BBM2000 is an Alero owner so I don't even know why she was kicked off.

It doesnt matter if they were an alero owner. They were not a proper member of Aleromod, registering only to vote does not count.
