I think you are missing the point. I am not asking anyone to spend money. I am asking for this section to be about performance. If not, don't call it the performance section.

I might have the L61 in my car but I think it would be interesting if there was more happening performance wise with the LA1 and the L61 guys cause the LD9 guys seem to be doing tons of stuff with there's.

not sure on the sound cause you have the 3400 but it would be very loud with a straight pipe

I understand what you are saying, but it seems that more people come on here and talk about simple problems, not too many actual performance mods.
I would love to hear more about the tech stuff in Fuller's motor, and Jackel's motor. This is how you learn

I hope to talk about it more someday (for reasons you are well aware). Mark and I are going to try idle and low/speed tuning this weekend.

i do think another reason is because the market itself for 3400 performance part is not very good at all... and the stuff that is outthere is so expensive the majority cannot afford it..

i make 8 dollars an hour and can use tools but also dont have access to many of the the things needed for alot of things
but when your looking into the hundreds of dollars for a custom part that does minimal upgrade generally for the amount spent you could buy another car more powerfull and with less money.. jmo

ok so say you put 3k into your engine...... are you telling me your going to go out and buy a car for 3k with better performance? you can build your car to be a BEAST and it will cost less than a new car.

this my friend,,very true. lol,,, if you look at it that way.. but also if you buy an alero say for 3800 dollars and you put in 3000 to the motor and whatnot your up to 6800 dollar where abouts then you get your cosmetics done (wheels body ect) your at around 8000 including repairs or when things go wrong... now for 8000 area one could buy something better ... i guess it all deends on what one considers cheap
