Question about sound system competitions

Ok so i never really knew that people competed with there sound system till a couple years ago. I thought it was just a competition to see who's was loudest, but i wanna know what are all the other kinds and what you have to do for it.

I think if there is a website that does all this really good, you should sticky it, because im sure im not the only super noob to competing in stuff like this.

well the main two are db drag and bass race. took me a minute to distinguish the two. just learned all this last weekend, so correct me if im wrong.

db drag: who has the highest db for your specified class
bass race: 30 seconds to have your highest db AVERAGE to not go above the range ur competing in. (ie: 120-129.9, 130-139.9,140-149.9, 150-159.9) so by the end the highest score you can have is with a 9.9 and if u go over that extra .1 db you disqualify yourself. they say its pretty tough to do but i nailed a 129.9 first try, just gotta slowly wait for the numbers to climb steadily till it reaches the 9.9 by the end. its a ton of fun
