Hey all,
I've searched the site for pictures and posts... but so far, no answers to the question I have lingering...
Will a 2.4L or a 2.2L CAI for a Cavalier work in the 2.2 Alero? If so, does anyone recommend any company in particular? Thanks,
Ej.

if it was WAI i would say yes that the one for the 2.2 would prob. fit, roughly anyway, but since your're talking CAI, i would say neither would fit, i think the bends would probably be wrong for it it fit where it needs to for a CAI....there is a CAI made specifically for the ecotec alero made by induction dynamics, and i think other make them too, a better bet would be seaching for a CAI for a ecotec grand AM, you'll probably get more results eventhough the GA and alero are the same car

DEEZ NUTZ!!
Okay, well, CAI aside, everything was pulled out of the car today to start painting various parts and putting them back into the car. Pictures will (should) be posted later tonight, if I can get the digital cam up and running...
The instrument part numbers (all 11...) have been tracked down, and slowly they'll be making an appearance... as for mounting the new exhaust plate... it's a matter of getting that running board off of the driver side... I really am stuck on that... but yes, pictures soon...

a CAI for a 2.2 cavvy might work for the alero, but i stress might, you have to take into consideration that the engine bay for a cavvy is much smaller than an alero, so you might not have the length on the right parts of the CAI or the bends in exactly the right places, i personally wouldnt risk it, i would just buy a CAI specifiacally for a GA or alero
and what about NASCAR?

NASCAR? Well, way back some time ago, probably in a fit of drunken rage at seeing another Civic with a body kit and a grape-fruit launcher for exhaust, I swore that my Alero will look like a NASCAR at some date later on... and well, I'm on the way... for now it's mainly interior and exaust... the body kit will be the last thing to go on... but yes, pics of the interior (as gutted as it may be) will be posted tomorrow...
