Does anyone know if the Ram Air hood from the Grand am will fit onto the Alero?

I know that you can buy the Ram air kit with the new air box that goes inthe hood opening but I was wondering if the hood matched up or if you needed to modify it.

you'd probly need the GA fenders as well to line the hood up. Not to mention the front bumper might be a bit off. They are N bodies but not everything is interchangeable. If your looking for a hood check out the alero cowl hood.

you will need front clip, bumper, headlights, fenders, and hood to make it work... it's all bolt on, but yea.

wouldnt the front end from a GA be a direct bolt on to the Alero?

well..kinda...by the time you buy fenders, headlights, front bumper cover, and whatever else you migght need...you might as well buy a used GA and make a Grandlero and an Aleram...be cheaper probly

well thats why no one is gonan buy the stock pieces from a GA.
if your smart you'd buy aftermarket stuff, like a bad ass hood, some nice style fenders of your choice, a body kit front clip. and possibly aftermarket headlights.
IMO it could look pretty smooth, if doen right.
and if you havent noticed the GA has a bit better aftermarket, so it'd be cheaper than doing custom hood, fenders, and an alero body kit.

no, with the whole front clip it'll all bolt right up.
pull off the front and rear, and some interior stuff, and the grand am/alero is the EXACT same car.

I've always thought about what a granlero would be like.
I defiantely like the alero's ass better (unless its a GT)

I like the way the Hoood looks on the grand am, If there was a way to make it work without sacrificing that Headlight, front bumper look; I'd be all for it.
EVen the aftermarket kits for the front facia still have the Alero CHaracteristics..
