they used to have a thing out call black majic tire spray or whatever. It was basically a spray that made your tires shimmer blue, red, gold, and I think white. Really retarded.

Well right now im saving for headers, but after that im going to do the mirrors. I want them to look good, and i hate messing with things on my car, cause i cant afford to mess something up So i will probably call around to diff. places and ask them how much they would charge me to get the mirrors painted. I wont be doing this for a while though, i NEED to buy headers, i will die if i dont

Im just planning for what im going to do....
and theres nothing wrong with them, i just dont like how they are black. Its not a BIG deal that they are black, i like them either way.
IDK how my color will look on the mirrors..... its weird, some mirrors that are painted dont look like they match good.

I brung this thread back cause I've been thinking about getting my car painted flat black, no clear coat or gloss in it at all. I also want to change rims to either chrome black or just a gloss black no chrome lip. Tell me what yall think.

I guess if you like the SUV that Rob and Bigg drive around in their show then go for it.
Maybe it's just me but flat black looks too primer-ish to me?

Yeah I did a search and there wasn't a speciffic thread on car painting that I could find...lol Gloss is nice but I like the toughness of flat black, plus If it should ever get messed up then all thats needed is a spray.

Honestly I do like the look of that truck. Kinda like military-ish! I think it looks bad ass.

Ya I've seen a ton of em, it just looks weird.. in NFS: MW you can use flat paint color schemes, and all flat colors look odd to me. *shrug*

Here's some more samples, of course these are exotics and are in another league but I think the alero would look cool, plus it shouldn't cost as much hopefully!

In no ways does it look bad, I just like the glossy look on any car really.
More showy but flat black does have it's advantages too.

I think even on exotics flat black looks like crap. The only time the primer look works is on rat rods.

Well I never said it was for everybody, all that matters if I get it done is that I like it....to each his or her own.
