Hi everyone.

Problem:
The engine cranks and will not start.

I've done alot of testing this weekend and hopefully I'll be able to hook up a
tech II to my ride and see what codes it's showing. I hooked up two ODB-II readers to the 'lero and both showed NO CODES, and MIL off, when it is clearly on.

I have spark, The plugs spark and continue to spark during crank.

I have fuel at the rail, the system primes fine when I turn the key to the "on" position.

I have compression, when I spray starter fluid The cylinders fire until the fluid is gone.

Noid light on the injector plugs shows them firing once when I turn the key then they dont fire anymore.

Checked all fuses, and switched the fuel relay with the A/C relay (they're the same) and still nothing.

I switched out the fuel filter at 30,000

Any Ideas?!

Thanks guys.

I'd go with a no for this one.

I had just driven it home from work. Parked the car for 20min and came out to goto the gym. It hasnt started once since then.

I wouldnt think water in the gas since I get no activity from the injectors.

Mebbe my computer is fried?

yea thats my guess.....id say computer, you say you got fuel pressure at the rail and it just wont turn over but its cranking........its getting no fuel......id say pull off the upper intake to get into the injectors and take a look at em, if none are squirtin i would say definately ecu, but first check the wiring harness, make sure everything is plugged in........

Well I figured that I might as well finish up this post.

I figured out what it was.

It was the code for the Security Lock system -fuel delivery

Only a Tech II could read these codes. I just had to download the ecu program and re-flash my car.

It took quite a while for me to even figure out what was wrong. I'm lucky that I can get ahold of a tech II or I'd have to taken it to a dealership and actually spend money. RABBIT-THAT!

All in all it was a good experience. And I totally cleaned pretty much every part above my lower intake.

starts right up now.. go figure.
