does anybody know of anybody with do it yourself or how to instructions for the 2.2l ecotec engine.
i've been looking and cain' t find anything.

There are no real instructions for a 2.2 cai. Once again, the tube bending for this application is very intricate, and can't be done by yourself without splitting up the pipes a million times and using a million couplers.

You're better off just buying one or if you're despirate for a CAI, use the flexible duct tubing from home depot, even though it will look ghetto.

Ive been contemplating trying something with a couple of the honda CAIs that autozone sells, those come w/ a filter and a short pipe w/ 90 degree bend....for $40 and then reposition the battery for a straight pipe to the wheel well....then use the other pipe for that second bend needed....but i havent looked into this enough to guarantee this would work, but seems to me it should, might need some fabricating to fit the pipe to the TB....any opinions on this?

those civic intakes aren't cai's, they are ram air intakes. I've seen what your talking about though. good luck is all I can say
