no, he couldnt. and i dont think anyone could.... the carbon fiber process is completely different than that of any other type of material, and i dont think you'd have much luck attaching anything to it. but hey, im no expert.

and alero is right... the majority of boser hoods are metal extensions welded onto a stock hood, then smoothed and filled.

sweet, i can finally add to my posts without the stupid edited line. nice feature niach.

dont know any shops that convert hoods to carbon fiber (as in make you one)

it is one of the old ones that were first made for the aleros, 1 of 3 or 4 i think, anyways, yeah it flew off my car, i claimed insurance on it, but it is still good, i just need to do a little bit of fiberglass work, sand, paint and voila, lightweight cf hood, seriously though, this hood is for anybody that really wants to drop weight, it is a single carbon fiber sheet, no underbracing, if installed correctly it won't rattle or move at all but the damn thing weighs like 5 lbs..........if either of you are really interested pm me and we can talk..........***BTW - i'll let it go pretty cheap by the way as i need cash for my turbo project***
