Nice, looks like you've got a bit of torque steer going on there.

Yeah, I've been lucky so far, it's one thing that's taken for granted till it goes out. It's survived so far mainly because there is a huge power loss at this altitude, estimate it gets about 235-250 WHP up here. Until last year I always detuned it when travelling down to sea level. To duplicate the power seen at sea level would take about a 50-75 shot of nitrous, which I might do.
I'd like to see it run a 12.xxx before it's put out to pasture......

Thanks, but don't use me as a role model
I have a terrible time getting things out of the prototype stage.

At the track I run full line pressure and get better shifts, but normally it's pretty rare to have to let it upshift 2-3 on the street or highway at full throttle.

It peaked out at about 10-12. The video lost a lot of resolution for some reason when uploaded to YouTube. I think I'll try photobucket next time.

A scoop is a necessity, with all the extra mass of metal under the hood, but you might like the first version of it better, painted black. Anybody got a '69 Hurst/Olds scoop laying around? I thought about making a smaller version of that one.
