I bought one but I returned it. I decided not to install it.
Electrical gague, I think the sender will fit in the check hole above the pass side axle

Nah, I was just going to suggest one of these..
http://www.pfyc.com/pc/GN2110/ALGAU/...nd+models.html
It can read out way more than trans temp.

Ugh, what an ugly install for the 12v constant
Alero, all gagues are wired to the radio. Lighting to the "parking lamp" wire (I think it's brown) and the electric power to the ign wire which is one of the yellow ones, the other yellow one is for one of the speakers.
The Delta, they are also hooked right into the fuse box and fused (but only 2 of the 4 are electrical, lighting is done to the clock.

Well, considering some people want an actual 2 1/16 gauge I posted that. There's places to get it for less too. There is also the ScanGauge which is less expensive (about $150 on ebay) but that's a little rectangular job like the MSD.

Doesn't the MSD only work on CANBUS?

Come to think of it yes, so it won't even work on the Alero.
